A day in the oldest city in America::circa 1565::

It was a hot and humid day along the coast of north Florida yesterday.
We meandered around tiny streets, browsed a few new shops that have emerged
within the past year, ate lots of good Spanish cuisine, snapped photos
{I received some vital lessons of how to hold a camera}
and enjoyed some laughs from old memories.

This city has continued to hold my heart captive, even after a year and a half
of "post-graduate" life.

Tomorrow I'll post my beach photos!
After a year away, I was finally reunited with my beloved Florida coastline. :)

Southern Living at its best

These are from a couple of summers ago
when some friends and I went to a spring and swam for the day.
Lots of bubbles and laughs and a fish eye lens and
a certain "Ken" who followed us around.

I love reliving old memories. :)
We're off to St. Augustine for the day!

An evening walk along the lake

I brought along the camera to test it out once more and
didn't realize how many shots I had of our Sheltie, Malibu
until I loaded them onto my laptop.
I'm glad I don't have a child yet....
I can only imagine how many pictures I would take!

Enjoy!
This defines the word home for me. :)

Have a wonderful weekend!
I'm off to St. Augustine with a dear friend
to visit old tromping grounds. :)

HOME

I just received a Canon Rebel XT as an early birthday gift (September 3rd).
I can't wait to use it on my travels,
but for the time being, here are some shots from my family's home in Florida. :)

I return to Prague on August 31st,
so for the time being I'll be posting stateside (a.k.a. Florida).
I hope you are all having a relaxing summer
and spending it with those you love!
